“Allahyar and the Legend of Markhor,” an award-winning animated film known for its inspiring storyline and environmental themes, provided the perfect backdrop for this initiative. The movie centers around a young boy named Allahyar and his journey to save a baby Markhor, an endangered species of wild goat found in the mountainous regions of Pakistan. The film beautifully weaves in messages of conservation, respect for wildlife, and the importance of preserving our natural habitats.

As part of the Plant Seeds Distribution campaign, McDonald’s Pakistan and the movie team collaborated to create special seed packets containing a diverse range of native plant seeds. These packets were distributed at select McDonald’s Pakistan restaurants and screenings of “Allahyar and the Legend of Markhor” across various cities. The idea behind this thoughtful endeavour was to encourage families, especially children, to take an active role in nurturing the environment and promoting biodiversity.
